First Principle to find product market fit

What’s the common denominator among luminary Entrepreneurs such as Elon Musk, and philosophers such as Aristole, and Decartes?

They all believed strongly in the notion of First Principles.

Which means boiling down problems to their most fundamental truths and questioning each step along the way.

If you are asking yourself who is your customer, and how much are they going to pay, here is a way to do it with first principles thinking:

List the steps your customer persona is going throughout their customer journey, and at each step ask yourself, and write down, “how could I offer 10X value?”.

For instance, your customer journey can be awareness, trial, initial investment, and expansion.

Within awareness, can you offer 10X more case studies?

Within trial can you offer 10X faster on boarding experience?

Within initial investment can you offer 10X guarantee on the client investment? Within expansion can you offer 10X less risk?
Getting 10X value may seem challenging, and you may end up offer something 10% better, or cheaper and win market share. That’s absolutely fine.
